FOLLOW HIGH SCHOOL FEDERATION RULES

WEST OAHU BASEBALL DIRECTORS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS TO RULES, FOR THE SAFETY AND IMPROVEMENTS OF THE TOURNAMENT.

*ALL TEAMS ARE REQUIRE TO HAVE THEIR OWN INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TEAM.

MANAGERS / TEAM DIRECTORS

1. SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCT OF ALL PLAYERS AND COACHING STAFF ON AND OFF THE FIELD.

2. ONLY COACHING STAFF LISTED ON TEAM ROSTER CAN QUESTION THE UMPIRES ABOUT A RULING.

ELIGIBILITY

1. A PLAYERS AGE FOR PARTICIPATING IN A SPECIFIC AGE BRACKET IS THEIR AGE AS OF APRIL 1ST OF THE CURRENT CALENDER YEAR. 

HOME TEAMS

1. FLIP OF A COIN WILL IDENTIFY EACH HOME TEAM IN ROUND ROBIN PLAY.

2. HOME TEAMS SHALL BE THE OFFICIAL SCOREKEEPER FOR EACH GAME, AFTER GAME SCOREKEEPERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IN REPORTING SCORES TO TOURNAMENT DIRECTORS.

3. DURING THE SINGLE ELIMINATIONS, THE HIGHER SEEDED TEAM WILL BE HOME TEAM.

EQUIPMENT

1. PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR ALL PROTECTIVE GEAR.

2. ALL PLAYERS ARE TO BE IN FULL IDENTICAL UNIFORMS. WHICH CONSIST TEAM NAME AND NUMBER.

3. COACHING STAFF SHALL WEAR MATCHING COACHING SHIRTS AND COACHING PANTS OR SHORTS (OPTIONAL) AND SHOES.

4. GAME BALLS WILL BE PROVIDED BY HAWAII WORLD SERIES

1. DH & EH ARE CONSIDERED STARTERS.

COURTESY RUNNERS

1. MAY BE USED FOR ONLY PITCHERS AND CATCHERS AT ANYTIME.

INTENTIONAL WALK

1. NO PITCH NECESSARY

TIME LIMIT

1. POOL PLAY - 2 HOUR TIME LIMIT

2. CHAMPIONSHIP & ELIMINATION GAMES - "NO TIME LIMIT"

3. MERCY RULE - 10 RUNS WILL APPLY TO ALL GAME

PROTEST

1. ANY PROTEST ON THE FIELD WILL BE DISCUSSED AND RESOLVED BY A TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR. (WITHIN 15 MINUTES)

SEEDING

1. WILL BE BASED ON WIN / LOSS / TIE RECORD

2. HEAD TO HEAD

3. LEAST RUNS ALLOWED

4. FLIP COIN

SCHEDULE

1. AFTER (TBD) ALL SCHEDULING OF GAMES WILL BE FINAL!! NO ACCEPTIONS!!!

AWARDS

1. WILL BE GIVEN OUT TO CHAMPIONS AND RUNNER-UPS!!!

FOOD AND BEVERAGES / RESTROOMS

1. SNACK BAR WILL BE ON LOCATION AT LES MURAKAMI STADIUM AND CASTLE FIELD

2.RESTROOMS ARE LOCATED AT COMPLEX

*ALL TEAM ROSTERS MUST BE IN BY (TBD). THERE WILL BE NO ADDITIONS TO TEAM ROSTERS AFTER DEADLINE!
